‘Stand in the Fire’ 5 Day Intensive Retreat
in Snowdonia National Park, Wales
Wednesday 30th November – Sunday 4th December 2016
Are you ready to stand in the fire, and risk losing all that isn’t true?
An Intensive with Unmani is an opportunity to explore what is real beyond all our hopes, fears and dreams. The Intensive will involve full participation in all the sessions. The sessions will include intensive dialogues with Unmani, and every person in the group will be asked to participate. We will also be moving, dancing, and doing a variety of other creative and playful activities that all offer ways of exploring truth beyond the words and concepts. This Intensive is the gift to yourself that can answer your deepest longing.
For more details about the format of this intensive please read the information on the Intensive Retreats page.
Please note that before you book your place at an Intensive, Unmani asks that all participants come to at least one open meeting. If this is physically impossible, please make sure that you have watched several of Unmani’s free video clips available on Youtube.
The Intensive will start at 10.00am on the 30th November and finish around 1.30pm on the 4th December. Unmani asks that you commit to the whole 5 days inclusive of all the sessions. It is not possible to come for only part of it, as this disturbs the group energy. Please arrive a few minutes early to settle so that we can start on time.
The intensive will happen in Betws-y-coed, in the heart of beautiful Snowdonia National Park. Just 15 minutes from Mount Snowdon. The area is very popular amongst walkers and climbers and there are lots of lovely mountain and lake walks in the area.
In the village/town there is a Spar and a Londis for basics and a nice cafe.
There is comfortable accommodation available on site at The Fairy Glenn.
Rooms are £30 for a shared room in an apartment or £59 for a single room. All the apartments have their own kitchens.
The nearest railway station is Llandudno Junction-3 hours direct from London Euston. Llandudno Junction is about 25 minutes drive from Betws-y-coed. . It is recommended to book train tickets in advance or it gets very expensive.
If you need a cab from the station there might be taxis at the station but it might be advisable to prebook. There are
lots of cab companies in the area if you google it. I know JMJ Travel are good 01492 642422, they would need
to be pre booked.
There are also limited trains running from Llandudno Junction to Betws-y-coed (3 or 4 a day). It takes half an hour. It is a 10 minute walk to the venue from Betws-y-coed station. I might be able to help pick people up if they can arrive together.
