‘Meeting Yourself As Life Itself’
Intensive Retreat

in The Netherlands

Sunday 15th August – Friday 20th August 2021

Now also available to join online!

Join Unmani for this Intensive Retreat in Hoog Soeren, in the green heart of the Netherlands.

Waking up to the truth means not only recognising your Absolute True Nature, but also discovering the mysterious unfolding of how this is lived in your human life.

‘Waking up to the truth doesn’t fit into any ideas, and is an endless falling apart of whatever you thought you had or knew. Trying to hold it all together and control life is so much effort, and doesn’t work. Endlessly trying to fit your very human self into beautiful spiritual dreams of perfection, only makes you feel like there is something wrong with you. But by courageously taking the risk to stand by your imperfect human nature, you acknowledge the perfection that you are already. The bubbles of spiritual hopes and dreams must burst, and disillusionment is often experienced. You come down from floaty heavenly clouds, to the ground, and face the raw reality of Life as it actually is. You realise the arrogance of thinking you know how it all is, or should be. Life takes you on the humbling journey of bowing down again and again to the mystery. This human is the mystery, just as the whole of Life is that mystery. This human can never, and does not need to ever, fit into any ideas of perfection. It is such a relief to let it all fall apart, and be whatever you are now. Then all that is left is gratitude and awe for this ever-revealing mystery of Life.’

Join Unmani at this beautiful place in National Park The Veluwe, The Netherlands.

These 5 days together in a small like-minded group offer a rich opportunity to:
– dive deeper into the recognition of your true nature
– explore the living of your true nature in your daily life
– question, share and discover how this life can be lived in truth and openness
– explore what is real beyond all our hopes, fears and dreams.

Unmani supports the inquiry into the nature of thought, and it’s endless sneaky tricks. Thought is not made to be the enemy but simply seen as a servant to the truth of who you really are.

Unmani’s message is not a complicated prescription of what you need to do or not do, but a simple description of how it is, and who you are, already. It is not about one day becoming perfect, but about waking up to the simple truth that you are already everything that you have been longing to become.

For more details about the format of this intensive please read the information on the Intensive Retreats page.

Please note that before you book your place at an Intensive, Unmani asks that all participants come to at least one open meeting. If this is physically impossible, please make sure that you have watched several of Unmani’s free video clips available on Youtube.

Unmani asks that you commit to the whole 5 days inclusive of all the sessions. It is not possible to come for only part of it.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITY

Unmani’s intensive retreats can be very intense and go very deep.  In these retreats, Unmani always gives as much support and individual attention as possible, however, when you register for an intensive retreat you  it is always your own responsibility to be sensitive to yourself and to know how deep you are willing and able to go.

Occasionally this work may bring up latent traumatic memories which can trigger overwhelming thoughts, emotional responses and behaviour. Working with Unmani may offer an opportunity to recognise, release and go beyond these states. However, a participant with a pre-existing mental health condition may feel overwhelmed by this and so additional medical and psychiatric support may be required. Please be aware that we are not able to provide this type of support or expertise.

If you are currently receiving or have previously received any medical treatment or therapy for issues related to mental health, an intensive retreat may not be suitable for you. We encourage you to consult with your mental health practitioner before participating, to ensure that the retreat is right for you at this time.

Intensive Retreats with Unmani are not a replacement for any medical treatment or diagnosis.
